The C4 or Composition C-4 is an explosive weapon added to Jailbreak in the 2020 Winter Update of December 20, 2020. It can be found in the Rising City Gun Shop, Crown City Gun Shop, Mountainside Town Gun Shop, Prison Gun Shop and the Military Base, as well as being obtainable via trading a donut with Rusty.
Overview
The C4 is an explosive that can be attached to vehicles, players, walls, and the ground. After being placed, it can be triggered with a remote control. You can only detonate one C4 at the same time, as you can't place multiple C4 without detonating them. It has the power to launch players within its blast radius a good distance away, and will eject players out of all aerial vehicles when placed and detonated on one. 10 of this item could've been obtained as a reward for reaching level 2 in Season 1: New Beginnings and Season 2: Out Of This World.
Functionality
The C4 can be placed anywhere by left clicking the mouse (shoot button on mobile) with it equipped, and the player will throw it a short distance away. It can stick to any surface. Left clicking again with the remote equipped will set it off, making the C4's light turn from red to green and beep rigorously before blowing up.
This will ragdoll all players in its vicinity and eject players from aerial vehicles. Only one C4 can be placed at a time for balancing purposes. C4 used to be able to damage teammates until asimo3089 removed friendly fire on the C4. It is also the only tool/weapon that can open the back door of the Bank Truck before it reaches its destination. In the 2023 Prison Update, the C4 is also used to blow up the wall in the Prison and escape. It is the only item that can do this.
Strategy
The C4 can be placed strategically for confrontations. Placing a C4 on a door and detonating it when an enemy enters it will damage and ragdoll them, allowing the player to kill/arrest them. C4 can be used similarly in Rising City Bank floors as a criminal, by placing it at an exit/entrance and blowing it up when police get close. Using C4 in conjunction with the Smoke Grenade will amplify the effect, since opponents will likely not see the C4 when under blinded by the smoke, allowing for surprise attacks with the C4. It also could be good for emergency situations, like if you are being chased by a cop that is progressing quick towards you, you could quickly place it down to ragdoll you and them, but pushing you more ahead of them so you don't get arrested.
The C4 ammos has total cost of 
5,000. Players should consider the money they lose to the money they get before using the C4: for example, spamming too much C4 on the ground can be wasteful as they will lose 1,000, leaving their profit. The only useful when using C4 is to blow up the back door of Bank Truck, in Rising City Bank floors as a criminal, by placing it at an exit/entrance and blowing it up when police get close.

Trivia
- The C4 is the first and only weapon that can stick to players.
- The C4 is the fifth and last weapon added in 2020.
- The C4 is one of the few explosives that can be used in-game, along with drop bombs, missiles, rocket launchers, and grenades.
- It is also the second hand-held explosive in the game, after the Grenade.
- Players can actually place 2 C4 at once if you spam left-click while holding the remote. However, you cannot place a C4, wait, then place another one.
- Originally, Badimo said that the C4 can eject players from all vehicles, but this was changed so only players in aerial vehicles will be ejected.
- Players can put C4 on Dogs. If activated, it has no effect on the dog, but can be used as a "long-range taser" for police.
- This can also work for Criminals.
- As of the 2021 5 Days of Vehicle Update, there is a bug where the C4 can fling vehicles when exploding.
- If you detonate yourself with a C4 and take damage, your Dog would actually attack you for only a split second (you would take damage) before it goes back to normal.
- The C4 can damage NPCS Bandits and the VP, but cannot ragdoll them and disable their weapons.
