The Baton is a free melee weapon added in the Jailbreak HD Update. It appears to be the Police counterpart to the Sword, as it is located in the Rising City Police Station, Crown City Police Station, Prison Police Station and the Security Office.
Overview
The Baton can be equipped and used while standing in front of an enemy, and is able to deal 15 damage, making it useful during close combat situations. The Baton's speed boost can also be useful when covering ground quickly. This may also be useful when chasing enemies.
This is one of the least used weapons in the game, as criminals can easily get arrested in its hit-range and police are better off using their handcuffs. However, it can be useful for identifying guilty prisoners quicker than the Taser, due to the Taser's long reload time.

- It is the second melee weapon to be added into the game, the first being the Sword.
- The Baton is almost identical to the Sword, but deals 5 less damage per hit.

20,000. - The Baton has a different lunge attack compared to the Sword.
- This is the only melee weapon that has spawn points.
- This is due to the Sword being obtainable from Gun Shops and the Military Base War Room.
