The Cruiser is an aquatic vehicle added in the Oceans/Ships Update, free to purchase and features two seats. Like the Jet Ski, the Cruiser leaves a trail of water behind when accelerating.
Overview
While the Cruiser may be fast and difficult to control at high speeds, due to its spawn point, it can be somewhat useful as a getaway vehicle if a player finds themselves in trouble at the Power Plant. Due to it becoming free, the Cruiser can also be used by new players as a way to enter the Oil Rig.
The Cruiser can turn dark green when it is sailed next to the Bounty Island in a rainstorm. This is an Easter egg shared with the Sloop. Like the Sloop, it can also cause the Bounty Bridge to open up when it is sailed underneath the bridge.
Performance
The Cruiser is comparable to the Jet Ski and is a better upgrade than it being more controllable, having better reverse speed. Speed-wise, it manages to be overall better than the Sloop and comparable the Jet Ski as it can reach top speed from a standstill in a few seconds.
In driving ability, the Cruiser's handling is known to be very sensitive at high speeds. A strong aspect of the Cruiser is its braking, which is better than other water vehicles.
The Cruiser is an excellent grinding vehicle, but there is a small problem, people who likes to use arrows are pretty unlucky, they cannot use left/right arrows since the controls are a tiny broken, leaving them using the WASD.

| The Cruiser has a top speed of 172 MPH, which is really good for free vehicle. It can beat Challenger. However, it's slower than the La Matador and Surus. This makes Cruiser the fastest free vehicle in Jailbreak. Trivia
- The Cruiser may be based on the 10' Squirt or the longer 14' Zip.
- Like the Sloop, this vehicle cannot be customized.
- After the 2023 Winter Update, both vehicles can now be customized.
- The Cruiser can change its appearance when driven to the Island Prison shipwreck during a rainstorm like the Sloop, but it's not as big of a change as the Sloop.
- By driving up a smooth slope near its spawn, the Cruiser can be driven on land. However, it is rather slow in comparison to its movement in water, and it can easily get stuck on bumps and edges.
- To get a Cruiser on land unstuck, players can exit the vehicle and push it around while crawling.
- After the Nukes Update, the Cruiser spawned at the docks at the Bounty Island.
- This was most likely done to make it easier to reach the mainland, as it is faster than swimming, and spawning vehicles with the Premium Garage Gamepass is disabled near and on the island.
- It has since been replaced with the Jet Ski.

- Although its name comes from a medium-sized warship, it's not very big. It resembles a speedboat.
- In a miscellaneous update, Badimo had silently nerfed the Cruiser and made it easier to control and making it's top speed slower than before. It was most probably before the Season 4 Mid-Season update.
- There is a glitch that when exiting the Cruiser when driven, you would have a broken animation. This has since been patched.
- There is a similar glitch when you equip a weapon or punch while on a minecart and then get off during a Tomb robbery.
- At some point a glitch would occur where the Cruiser would fall underneath the water when it wasn't being driven, this has since been patched.
- A glitch existed where you could have equipped a Hyperchrome as your body color in a different car and then used the garage with the Cruiser in order to have the Hyperchrome appear, this has since been patched.
- The Cruiser spawn point at the Bounty Island has been replaced with the Jet Ski in a miscellaneous update.
Miscellaneous Trivia
- Currently, the Cruiser is the fourth free permanent vehicle in the game, following the Camaro, Helicopter and Jeep.
- This is the second water vehicle to be added in the game, following the Jet Ski, with the third and fourth being the Sloop and the Speed Yacht respectively.
- It is the third fastest water vehicle in Jailbreak, way ahead of the Sloop, but below the Jet Ski and the Speed Yacht.
- This used to be the second-slowest vehicle in the whole of Jailbreak.
