For the mobile heist located in the Bank, see Bank Truck.
The Rising City Bank is a robbery located inside Rising City and is the first ever robbery to be introduced into Jailbreak. This Bank offers the Floor: Classic, The Mint, Financing: Underwater, Corridor,, Upper Management, Deductions, Presidential Vault and Basement floors, and houses the Bank Truck.
As part of the 2026 Live Event & Update, the Bank floors from the now-destroyed Crater City Bank has been moved into Rising City Bank.
Overview
The Rising City Bank was added when the game entered Public BETA on April 21, 2017. It is a large, green building and has 2 main entrances, the main entrance and a side entrance which requires a keycard. The interior features two ATMs and a gate that can only be opened using a keycard.
Players must clear a series of obstacles to reach the vault, and Criminals must also prevent Police from reaching the vault, since it will result in a Bank bust. There are a total of 5 possible floors that may appear below this Bank.
The heist has gone through multiple redesigns, floor layout changes, and holds a mobile heist vehicle, the Bank Truck.
Bank Floors
The Rising City Bank has a variety of floors, and each one has a unique way of robbing and the amount of cash you could earn. The Bank floors originally followed a sequential order which was: Upper Management > Basement > Corridor > Floor: Classic > Financing: Underwater > Floor: Blue > The Mint > Floor: Deductions > Presidential Vault. In the Fall 2023 Update, the Basement, Floor: Blue, Floor: Deductions and the Presidential Vault floors were moved to the Crater City Bank, but has since moved back with the Crater City Bank destroyed in the 2026 Live Event. Also in this update, the Bank floor order was changed from sequenced to randomized.
In the Rising Bank Update, the Bank and its respective floors were completely redesigned to improve the gameplay within the bank.
While each Bank floor has their own designs and layouts, there are always two constants on each floor: An alternate exit that can be revealed, and a vault that can be robbed.
Overview
Floor: Classic (formerly Classic: Remastered) is based on the very first iteration of the Bank vault that used to exist from the Public BETA Release up to the Mega Robbery Update.
Following the staircase down into the basement, players can find a small laser parkour course, in which they have to jump around a set of lasers. The vault waits at the end of the hallway.
Looking out from the vault, the alternate exit can be seen. Behind said exit is a shorter corridor with more lasers to avoid and the ladder to escape.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, the Classic floor was revamped featuring a true visual of Jailbreak's original Bank floor, with an expanded exit room for better team interaction.

The Financing: Underwater floor is one of the floors added in the Mega Robbery Update, and features a pool with pedestals sticking out from the water.
Upon entering, there are a few lasers on the water and near the vault, which can be easily avoided. Criminals can then begin placing dynamite on the vault.
Looking out from the vault, players can see the alternate exit on the left wall. Blow it up, follow the path, reach the ladder and climb out of the Bank. If the alternate exit is detonated, a hidden door will be revealed at the entrance to the floor, revealing a shortcut to the escape hatch.
If players swim under the floor at the far back of the pool area, there will be a secret room with a pedestal, the Jailbreak logo on the wall, and a message saying to keep the room a secret. In the previous version of the floor, the alternate exit had to be detonated to access this room.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, the Underwater floor was revamped featuring the removal of swimming, extending the main room and making the escape room larger.

The Mint floor was added in the Mint Update, and requires more complex movement to rob and escape.
Players begin by entering the main hallway. On the left, you can see stacks of money being transported with conveyor belts through a set of windows. On the right, you can view the path leading to the escape hatch. At the end of the hallway, you can find the alternate exit and the vault waiting to be opened. Players must avoid the lasers on the floor in a checkerboard-like pattern to reach the vault, and they can start collecting the cash once inside.
After the alternate exit is opened, you will see several fast-moving conveyor belts and moving lasers. Simply jump past these obstacles to reach the ladder at the end of the hall and escape. This alternate exit is more unique as it is actually a double-door system, lowering two doors instead of one.
Inside the vault, if the player crawls into the bag of money in the left corner, they will discover a hidden tunnel. After a few turns, the player will end up in the money conveyor room they passed earlier. This room serves no purpose, you are not immune to being arrested, and the cash on the conveyor belts cannot be collected.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, The Mint floor was revamped featuring widened hallways and new cover options, fewer lasers, updated main room leading to the vault, new double escape door design and a new escape room with rapid moving cash conveyor belts.

The Corridor floor is the third most recent Bank vault added to Jailbreak. It was added in the February 2020 Update, and is one of the more unique floors as the entire floor is condensed into a single hallway.
There are two routes you can take to the vault. The first option is to travel between each side room until you eventually reach the vault. The other method is to detonate the gate in the middle of the hallway, creating a shortcut to the vault. Between the two pathways, there is a gate in the middle. This gate can be detonated to create a shortcut to the vault, at the cost of losing cover against Police. From there, you can access the vault and collect the cash from within.
To reach the alternate exit, you will need to detonate the center gate. Once detonated, you can access the escape hatch in an alcove between the two gates and escape.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, the Corridor floor was revamped featuring a modified design with new zipline entry option, better cover, widened halls, new “Jail Gate” door, optional, for quicker entry and exit to the vault and expanded side rooms for better cover and team interaction.

Upper Management is the newest floor added in the May 2022 Update. This floor is one of the more unique ones, as it goes upwards rather than downwards like the other floors.
To complete this floor, you need to avoid the lasers on the stairway leading up to the floor, and then avoid a few floor lasers on the stairs leading up to the vault.
After collecting all the money, repeat the parkour and then you can either escape through the entrance or blow open the alternate exit. Behind the alternate exit features a very tall ladder leading to the Upper Management penthouse of the Bank. Press the button to open the window shutters, cut the window open, then jump out and parachute down to safety. Alternatively, you can exit through the back door located within the penthouse to gain access to the Little Bird at the roof. This is the only Bank floor to not utilize the escape hatch.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, the Upper Management floor was revamped featuring a new exit penthouse with a new roof exit door option, vault placement change with a clear, defendable, view down the room, along with widened hallways and increased headspace.

Deductions (formerly Floor: Deductions) was introduced in the Mega Robbery Update, and is a very unique floor with its design.
Players begin by walking down the staircase to a large room, and will be met with a split path. Heading right leads to an open area with the alternate exit door waiting to be opened, and a window showcasing money being burned in a pit of fire. The left path is initially blocked, but it leads to a hallway filled with moving lasers and the escape ladder. Take the right path to access the alternate exit and detonate it.
The alternate exit is much more unique on this floor, as it reveals both the escape hatch and the vault room. Once detonated, you have 5 seconds to enter the vault room before a second door closes on the vault room. If you fail to enter in time, the door blocking the left path before will open to create an alternate route.
The Deductions floor was revamped in the Bank Truck Update.

Overview
The Presidential Vault was introduced in the Mega Robbery Update, and is the most challenging floor to rob.
Players begin the floor by either taking the Zipline down to the floor or by simply jumping. At the bottom, there is a wide corridor, consisting of a solid translucent laser wall that moves from the front to the back of the corridor. When players touch this wall, they will take significant damage and get pushed, allowing the wall to deal more damage. To get past it, players must run into small gaps in the wall where then they can hide and wait for the laser wall to pass again. After one or two turns of this, players will reach the vault.
The vault in this floor is the most challenging to rob, having not only a few floor lasers inside, but two moving walls of vertical lasers. Players must avoid both sets of lasers to collect the cash and exit the vault. Players can avoid needing to dodge the lasers walls by standing perpendicular to the laser movement.
Although it may not seem like it, you can leave the way you came in, you just need to climb up the spiral stairwell inside the elevator shaft. The other way is the alternate exit, which is located directly across from the vault. The escape room features a handful of lasers you must avoid before you can reach the escape hatch at the end of the hall. This method of escaping is highly recommended due to players not having to risk leaving through the front door.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, the Presidential Vault floor was revamped featuring a new Zipline entry option, increased head room, widened main hall with deeper pockets for wall dodging, an updated vault room design with clear markings for where to collect cash while halving the speed of the lasers in the vault as well as simplifying the escape.

The Basement floor was added in the NASCAR Update and is currently the second newest Bank floor in Jailbreak.
When entering the vault, players will walk along an elevated walkway and descend down a set of stairs. Players will then have to jump over a repeating array of lasers on the floor towards the vault at the opposite side of the room. The vault itself features a hallway and a staircase inside.
The alternate exit can be found hidden away under the walkway used to enter the floor. It features a few sets of lasers to jump over and avoid before reaching the escape hatch.
As part of the Rising Bank Update, the Basement floor was revamped featuring a widened entry staircase, simplified escape, fewer lasers and new glass walls to better team interaction and a new stairwell while extending the hall in the vault.

Robbing the Bank
Items
Several items may be brought to increase the chances of successfully robbing the building:
- Keycard: Required to access the Bank. Players can still access the Bank if another player lets them inside.
- Weapons: Recommended at all times, used to kill Police that attempt to arrest players in the Bank.
- Donut/Forcefield Launcher: Used to heal if players are low on health.
- Glider: Useful to skip the laser ditch in the Corridor floor.
- C4: Useful as a trap for incoming Police. They will be ragdolled on detonation and opens up for a more powerful ambush against them.
- Dogs: Attacks the Police when a Criminal damages a cop. It is immune to lasers and can run fast to attack Police. A Bulldog is recommended because it can do more damage to Police.
Entering
After obtaining a Keycard, players can open the metal door leading to the stairs or use the side door on the left side, then take the path to the vault area, depending on the floor variant. In Corridor, the player will drop down into the vault hallway, in the rest of the variants, the player walks up or down a set of stairs to get to the vault area.
Each vault has a different series of obstacle courses, mainly consisting of lasers, which damage the player's health. These must be passed to reach the vault and exit the Bank. This can be done by avoiding the lasers by jumping or moving out of their way. After successfully dodging the lasers, players will have to approach the vault so dynamite can be placed automatically. Players should not stand too close to the vault as the blast can launch players into hazards and result in death.
Robbing
Once the vault is open, simply step inside and you will earn
50 money every half second.
Escaping
There are three ways to escape in all variations:
The first way is to escape through the main entrance. This can be risky, as players may have to avoid incoming Police officers walking through the door. It is the slowest way to exit, but is often considered the easiest.
The second way to escape the Bank is by the side entrance. This takes the same route as the main entrance but has lower risk since Police are less likely to be camping the side of the building.
The third way, added in the 1B Visits Update, consists of going through the metal explosive door that changes location depending on the Bank variant.
The player must first place dynamites on the metal door and wait ten seconds for it to explode. After that, they will travel down a corridor and climb up the ladder, which opens a hatch located near the side entrance of the Bank. In Upper Management, the ladder will lead to the top floor and requires players to jump down to escape.
As waiting for the door to be opened costs time, many players prefer to open it before they start robbing, as so the door is open while they are robbing, and they can use it for a quick escape after they are done collecting cash. However, the door only stays open for a minute after being blown, and will close after that period is up. It will have to be blown up again if closed.
It is recommended to use this escape if a keycard is not available or Police officers are camping at the gates, but doing it will cost some time. Be sure to stay far away from the door when using this method, as the explosion might push players into lasers.Bank Bust
A Bank Bust happens when a Police officer walks into the vault alive. This results in the Bank immediately closing and all Criminals inside the Bank building being automatically arrested and teleported out, while a server chat message reads "[Criminal's display name(s)] got busted in a Bank robbery". If any of the Criminals have a bounty, the police will automatically collect them. If a Criminal does not have a bounty, the officer will collect the default amount of cash for arresting.
The difficultly of the Bank bust depends on the Bank floor. The Financing: Underwater floor is the easiest to bust due to its short length, and opening the alternate exit will create an easy route for Police to bust the vault. The Mint floor is considered the most challenging to bust, because of the long hallway leading to the main vault is quite lengthy and gives Criminals plenty of space to defend.
Tips and Tricks
Note: Due to the Rising Bank Update, some of these tips may now be outdated and aren't accurate to the current version of the heist. It will be updated over time as more tips & tricks are discovered.
Before Entering
- Players are not recommended to rob the Bank alone unless there are little to no (or inexperienced) Police on the server. Try to bring a team of Criminals.
- Players should have weapons before entering the Bank, as Police can easily dash though a Bank floor using a Glider and Energy Drink.
- Placing C4 around areas where cops are likely to go through helps because when detonated they can ragdoll and leave the Police defenseless.
During Robbing/Busting the Bank
- Do not try to open the alternate exit before the vault opens. This will waste time and you will most likely have to blow it up again once you are done. This escape can be used if the player does not have a keycard.
- Try throwing grenades and launching rockets at Police who are in the stairway. Alternatively, place C4 on the Bank entrance and detonate it when Police enter the Bank, to buy the Criminals more time to loot and kill the Police.
- While waiting for the vault to open, the player should position themselves where they can easily defend the entrance against the Police while staying far away.
- If there are any Criminals still inside the Bank when the vault timer runs out, they will be kicked out of the Bank and all of their collected cash will be discarded. Any Criminals who successfully escape before the timer runs out will still be fully rewarded.
- Don't use large avatar packages when robbing the Bank, it will alter your hitbox and make it easier to take damage from lasers.
- The Glider is a useful tool for busting Bank robberies due to the Glider's large speed boost upon use.
- The Energy Drink is also useful but it has two significant drawbacks: It randomizes your avatar proportions, making you a bigger target, and it removes 50% of your health once the effect wears off, leaving you open to getting killed.
- A Smoke Grenade can be useful, as it blurs the Criminals' vision allowing the player to walk into the vault more easily. However, the player who threw it is also affected by the smoke grenade.
- Bring a Forcefield Launcher when busting Bank robberies, as the forcefields not only protect the player from gunfire but also regenerate health. The player can still be damaged by the plasma pistol, rockets, grenades, or by enemies shooting and destroying the forcefield.
- Don’t try to crawl under the lasers as the player's avatar will always be too large to fit underneath them.
- Use your taser! This stuns Criminals for 3 seconds, giving an opportunity to ambush and bust a Bank robbery
- Buy the La Matador or any Helicopter as they are the closest vehicles to the Bank, allowing for a possible escape route.
Vehicle Spawn Points
Little Bird
The Little Bird spawns on the helipad on top of the Bank. This is a recommended vehicle to use when getting away, as Police officers cannot easily catch Criminals in the air. As of The Epic Update, all helicopter spawn locations now have a special aircraft spawner allowing you to spawn any helicopter that you own, including the Little Bird.
La Matador
The La Matador spawns close to the Bank and is a cheaper alternative to the Little Bird. It is recommended to use this if the player does not own the Little Bird since it is located on the road instead of on the Bank roof.
Bank Truck
The Bank Truck is a mobile heist in Jailbreak. It spawns inside the garage within the Bank. Criminals can't use the truck to escape as it is locked for them, and it will not spawn unless it is ready to be robbed.

Trivia
- When the Bank closes, Criminals will always spawn on the right side of the Bank next to the side door, and Police will always spawn on the left next to the main door.
- Until February 28th, 2018, it was possible to glitch into the Bank without a keycard.
- This glitch likely existed because of an attempt to fix the Penguin/Snow Gentleman glitch.
- There is another way to glitch inside the Bank: simply park a helicopter's reel over the metal trapdoor, go into the passenger seat and extend the rope. Explode the exploding door from the inside and go to the main door to start the robbery. This may not work every time and it is unknown if this still works on the current version of the game.
- In a minor update, a low fence in front of the double doors was added to prevent wide vehicles from entering. However, players could still fit a Dirtbike, Volt, Patrol, or an ATV through the gap. Some larger vehicles can also use Rocket Fuel to ramp over the fence. Premium Garage does not work inside the Bank.
- Later on, a small invisible wall was added to further prevent vehicles from going inside the vault. The wall does not prevent bullets or rockets from entering the vault.
- As of the Balance Update, vehicles cannot be driven inside the Bank without the driver being ejected out.
- As of the Rising Bank Update, an ejection failsafe and 4 pillars were added to the trapdoor behind the Bank.
- As of the Balance Update, vehicles cannot be driven inside the Bank without the driver being ejected out.
- Later on, a small invisible wall was added to further prevent vehicles from going inside the vault. The wall does not prevent bullets or rockets from entering the vault.
- Lasers were colored orange during fall, light blue during winter, and purple during the alien event. When no special color was applied, they defaulted to the color red.
- Since the implementation of different Bank floors, the laser color is dependent on the floor.
- When Jailbreak first came out, the Bank had a glitch where the robbery would not start when players entered the Bank.
- Presumably added during the Sewer Escape Update, a small orange face called Scoobis was put on the "B" on the "Bank" sign.
- Since the Weapons/Items Update, this Easter Egg has been removed. It was later added back and moved to the Secret Agent Base.
- Before the Sewer Escape Update, there used to be a glitch where players could enter the Bank through the trapdoor, which was later patched. The procedures of this glitch are as follows: To enter, crawl on it, then jump while spamming the punch button. If done correctly, the trapdoor would open, leading to the room normally accessible by using the metal door. Go to the explosive door, where the prompt to place dynamite should appear. Place the dynamite. After the metal door explodes and opens, go upstairs to the metal door, start the robbery, and rob it as usual. Use the explosive door exit.
- When Jailbreak first came out, there were two big signs of the word "Bank", one on the front and one on the side.
- Possibly between the Dirtbike Update and Dune Buggy Update, the side one was removed.
- After the 2B Visits Update, the sign that said "Bank" was now above the main door. Another sign that said "Bank" was added to the backside of the Bank.
- After the Weapons/Items Update, the sign was changed to a decal rather than being 3D.
- After the 2B Visits Update, the sign that said "Bank" was now above the main door. Another sign that said "Bank" was added to the backside of the Bank.
- Possibly between the Dirtbike Update and Dune Buggy Update, the side one was removed.
- Before the 2017 Winter Update, the alternate exit was not visible or usable. This was quickly fixed. Before the 1B Visits Update, this bug started occuring again, but was again quickly fixed.
- During the 2017 Winter Update, the floor under the lasers was only ice and water. This was changed in the Rocket Fuel Update to a patterned floor and water.
- During the 2017 Winter Update, there was a glitch that players could have collected cash in the water that was near the vault. This was later patched to prevent exploiting.
- The walls in the Bank were changed to metal in a miscellaneous Update, to prevent bullets from ricocheting.
- Previously, Police officers who own the Volt bike can easily bust a robbery by driving into the building. Due to its fast speed, Criminals do not have enough time to kill the police, causing them to get arrested easily
- This was patched in the Balance Update, which added the ejection failsafe to heists.
- The Bank lasers (in Floor: Classic) were refreshed in a miscellaneous Update shortly after the Weapons/Items Update, adding a laser and spreading the rest of the lasers out.
- The dynamite textures were changed on the Fall Update of 2018.
- During the 2B Live Event volcano eruption, only the top of the Bank sank (the lobby and vault floor remained.) This was made to prevent players that were currently robbing the Bank to get glitched. This also prevented players from entering the Bank while the rest of the building sank.
- In the Mega Robbery Update, the Bank had received a huge revamp. There is now music when it is robbed (Death Chase A by Christopher W Tyler Nickel), and 4 new floors were added.
- As of March 17, 2019, a new floor was introduced called "The Mint". This floor awarded the same amount of money as the Presidental Vault despite being significantly easier.
- This was changed in the Fall 2020 Update, and The Mint doesn't reward as much cash as before.
- As of September 1, 2019, another Bank floor was added to the game, similar to the Presidential Vault and The Mint, called Floor: Blue, which is arguably even easier but also awarded the same amount of cash.
- This too was changed in the Fall 2020 Update.
- As of September 1, 2019, another Bank floor was added to the game, similar to the Presidential Vault and The Mint, called Floor: Blue, which is arguably even easier but also awarded the same amount of cash.
- This was changed in the Fall 2020 Update, and The Mint doesn't reward as much cash as before.
- It is possible to rob Floor: Classic, Financing: Underwater, Upper Management, Corridor,Deductions, and Presidential Vault without jumping.
- The Mint and Basement are theoretically doable, but require heavy use of the Forcefield Launcher and Donuts due to the high amount of floor lasers.
- The Rising City Bank is the only building that spawns 2 Easter eggs, the Financing: Underwater variant's hidden room and The Mint's hidden tunnel, though they cannot both spawn at once.
- In an update, the Presidential Vault became a little easier to complete due to complaints.
- As a joke, asimo3089 colored the Mint's walls "Mint Green".
- After September 1, 2019, when Floor: Blue was released, each floor now gave
1,000 more except for the Presidential Vault, which gave
2,000 more. - Previously, the Bank used to only give
33 at a time. That was changed later, giving
50 at a time. - Since the Sniper Update, the Sniper spawned in the Bank, behind the main door.
- As of the November 2020 Update, it is exclusively obtained in the Gun Shops and therefore has been removed from the Bank.
- In the Gun Skins Update, various Bank sections had minor changes, including more lasers or basic layout changes.
- Before the Gun Skin Update, the Corridor gave the same amount as the Floor: Classic floor. This was later changed.
- In the Nukes Update, the Jetpack was made unusable in the Rising City Bank.
- In the Cargo Ship Update, players were able to use the Jetpack in the Rising City Bank.
- However, the ability to use the Jetpack in the Bank was again removed in the Balance Update.
- Some time afterwards, players are now able to use the Jetpack in the Bank again.
- If the player attempts to use the Forcefield Launcher near or inside the vault, it will malfunction, either deploying the forcefield in mid-air or in a location that the player did not aim at. To solve this, simply aim the Forcefield outside the vault.
- Similar to the 2B Visits Live Event, the tornado in the 3-year Live Event only destroyed the top floors, with the bottom floor and the old Basement floor remaining the same.
- This is the first robbery heist location to be revamped, second being Jewelry Store & third being Power Plant.
- Before the invisible exterior barrier was added, the Volt, Patrol, and Dirtbike could enter the Bank by any door.
- After the 2020 Winter Update, duffel bags now appear on Bank robbers' backs.
- If the player has Roblox configured in another language, for example, Spanish, the Bank will have a small difference: the decal sign says Banc instead of "Bank" (in Spanish, "Bank" means Banco). This is because Jailbreak uses Roblox's translation feature, which generally has a lot of translation errors.
- Arrested Criminals used to stay inside the Rising City Bank when the robbery got busted.
- However, in a Miscellaneous Update in January 2019, arrested Criminals are now teleported out of the Bank when the robbery is busted.
- It is possible to stay in the vault after getting busted. This is rare however and cannot be exploited to rob other Bank floors due to layout conflicts.
- Originally, the Rising City Bank used to give an
$800 bounty (
$80 on a private server) after robbing it.
- In the Dogs Update, a new contract was added to bust the Bank.
- When players walk up the ladder to the Little Bird and jump down before they reach the angled ladder section, they will not be prompted to deploy a parachute, will not take fall damage, and not ragdoll, regardless of the height the player jumped from. It is unknown why this happens.
- This can also be done on the flag at the Military Base.
- During the 5th anniversary live event, the top of the Rising City Bank was destroyed by a meteor.
- After the event, the top of the Rising City Bank was still mostly destroyed.
- In the Fast Travel Jets Update, it got rebuilt with a new Bank floor.
- In the May 2022 Update, in order to accommodate the Bank’s expansion, one of the buildings near the Rising City Bank was removed.
- If the Police enters the vault area when the vault is closed, they cannot bust the Bank.
- There is a rare glitch where Police won't be teleported out of the Vault if they bust the Bank, and they will be trapped inside the vault.
- When the Rising City Bank reopens and the vault changes, the sound of the shutter doors used for the Upper Management escape floor opening/closing is heard, this is an easy way to tell when it opens.
- In the Rising Bank Update, a new exit was introduced to the Upper Management escape floor that allows players to climb onto the roof of the Bank.
- Deductions is the first Bank floor to require opening the alternate exit to access the vault, as both paths to the vault are completely blocked until the alternate exit is detonated.
- After the 2023 Fall Update, the Rising City Bank has been classified as Robbery Group A, opening alongside the Jewelry Store and Museum.
- As part of the Revamped Robbery Update, the Rising City Bank now opens randomly instead of opening alongside other robberies with the removal of the Robbery Group system.
