The Vice President (VP), formerly the CEO, is the primary antagonist of the Mansion boss fight and the main antagonist of Jailbreak, added to Jailbreak in the 2022 Winter Update. Created and animated by supernob12three[1], the VP owns the Mansion, Crown, Successor, Gromitt, Fatalita and Carbonara. Formerly the CEO at Crown Enterprises, he was demoted to Vice President during the 2026 Live Event.
Canonically, the VP is a super-villain responsible for several major events in Jailbreak, such as the Live Events. He wants to rule Jailbreak and destroy all criminals and police. Players will try to stop him in an epic battle, where the defeated VP will escape to continue his crimes.
During the 2024 Live Event, the VP made alien contact via the satellite from the Mansion and planned to use them to destroy the Jailbreak island. Luckily, asimo3089, badcc and CritStyx used a time machine to send every Jailbreak player back in time to May 17, 2019, in order to raise funds for a special task force that would undo the damage caused by the VP. After the goal was achieved, the VP's plan was stopped, though the VP escaped capture until 2026.
It was revealed in the 2026 Live Event that the VP was working for someone else. Thanks to the players' funds, he was finally captured, but he triggered a volcano eruption and used his meteor magnet to destroy the island. asimo3089, badcc, and Epic_Tank quickly opened an inter-dimensional rift to save Jailbreak. The island was pulled to safety, but the VP escaped into the rift, grew giant, and confronted his boss — who demoted him from CEO to VP.
Overview
Appearance
The VP is a tall, thin man who stands approximately 6'11" and his right arm is cybernetic. He has brown hair and a goatee beard and his eyes are emerald green, though they cannot be seen as he wears black sunglasses that cover them. He wears a black and gray pinstriped suit with a white shirt, a red tie, and black loafers to match his suit. On his suit is the Crown Enterprises logo, the same logo found on the Crown Jewel, Airdrop crates, Passenger Train and Private Jet. This indicates that they belong to Crown Enterprises.
Personality
The VP is a genius-level evil mastermind. He will use any method necessary to achieve his goals, regardless of the damage, death or collateral harm he causes. This includes losing his Bandit henchmen without hesitation. He is highly ambitious and never satisfied, always seeking more power. Through his experiments, he has engineered large-scale devices for environmental destruction, such as the Meteor Magnet, which he used to devastate the island. He has also developed systems capable of triggering volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and other catastrophes to cause all kinds of environmental destruction in Jailbreak. He has also mastered advanced technologies such as cybernetics, satellite communications for alien contact, and sophisticated mansion defenses.
Backstory
The VP, also known as "The Boss" to his own criminal henchmen, was born into a life of crime. He was cunning and ruthless as a small-time criminal. But he wasn't satisfied with money. He craved power and was willing to do whatever it took to get it.
As he became more ambitious, The Boss hired other criminals to help him carry out bigger and more elaborate crimes. His rapidly accumulated wealth and power made him the most feared and respected in underground crime.
Using his exceptional power, he built custom tools and amassed an army of henchmen to carry out crimes never before dreamed of. He became a super-villain against criminals and cops alike.
Now, the Boss sits in his new mansion, plotting world domination and destruction. But not everyone is willing to be under his control. A group of criminals who received an invitation in an airdrop are out to stop him.List of Properties

Boss Fight
After players enter the elevator in the Mansion that starts the fight, they are taken to the VP's office. Coming near the office plays a cutscene where the VP reveals that he was the one who caused the disasters in the live event. After the cutscene ends, the battle starts.
Attacks
Summoning Henchmen
The VP will begin the boss fight by summoning upwards of 3 henchmen to defeat the players and can summon more individual henchmen during the boss fight. This can be identified by the VP's whistle and a waving gesture at a door at the side of the room. NPCs will exit from the door that the VP gestures at and will behave similarly to how they behave when protecting airdrops: attacking all players within range, regardless of team. The sniper NPC is notably absent, likely since Snipers are far less effective at close ranges.
Spotlights
The VP can summon Spotlights from the left side of the room. These spotlights will move across the room and slow down players caught in them.
Cybernetic Arm
- Laser: The VP’s robotic arm is capable of firing lasers. He will stand still and fire the laser, which tracks player movement with a slight delay. The laser can be blocked by the pop-up boards that activate when players damage the VP from behind it.
- Grappling: The VP will target a random player (indicated by a purple circle around the targeted player), stop moving, charge up his attack, and then extend his arm to grab the player. This attack can take off half a player's health and has infinite range, though it can be blocked by the wooden boards.
Lasers
If players are able to damage the VP to 40% of his health, he will activate some lasers on the right side of the room. They behave similarly to the spotlights, moving up and down the room, and damage players by taking 20% of their health. The VP summons these lasers by raising his hand and whistling. A buzzing sound is heard when they activate.
Dark Aura
When the VP reaches 5% of his health, he will emit a dark purple aura that will ragdoll all players. He will also regain some of his health in this process. It is guaranteed in each fight, but the attack can be avoided if you deal enough damage to the VP until he's defeated. This attack does not deal damage to players.
After he is defeated, he will retreat, and a congratulatory track will play. Defeating the VP grants players that remained alive at the end of the fight
13,000,
$4,000 bounty and a bonus reward. Players can leave using a door located inside the rewards room, which teleports them outside of the mansion.

Trivia
- The VP's health is 3,400 HP in public servers, exactly 34 times higher than that of a normal player. However, unlike regular players and NPCs, he doesn't slow down when his health gets low, and when his health reaches 0, he doesn't die.
- The VP has his own police report files documented on him, which describes his criminal acts and backstory. [2]
- This report is written by a "Detective Shroud", a "criminal-turned-investigator". No other information about this character is currently known.
- The VP is responsible for not only the 2022 and 2024 Live Events but past live events as well. His in-game dialogue at the start of the battle mentions this.
- A Chicken costume in a display case could be found in one of the VP's rooms, similar to the one from the Ready Player One event in 2018. It was later removed from the game for unknown reasons, likely to stop players from believing the VP was the one wearing it.
- This Chicken costume could be seen inside the Maximum Security Prison during The Hatch Event, meaning the VP was not the one wearing this Chicken costume.
- One of his dialogue lines in the fight, "Block this you filthy casual!", references an internet meme, "Parry this you filthy casual".
- The VP may have been inspired by several people, both real and fictional:
- The VP has a similar appearance to real-world billionaire Elon Musk. Cars made by Tesla, a company owned by Musk, appear in Jailbreak.
- It is possible that the VP took inspiration from Dr. Claw from the Inspector Gadget franchise, mainly due to his metal arm.
- The VP does not attack immediately when the boss fight begins, only retaliating once the player shoots him.
- During the first few days of the release of the Mansion, there was a glitch in which, by equipping a Jetpack and flying up to a bookshelf, the VP could be completed easily without getting off the bookshelf once.
- After this was fixed, another glitch was found where at the start of a battle the VP could be pushed next to the fireplace before attacking and jumping on its head in order to get onto the fireplace, restricting his attacks. These were both fixed, however.
- The VP is canonically the owner of the Crown, Escape Bot, Successor, Carbonara and Fatalita.
